E&W Global has developed a highly flexible and multi-skilled workforce capable of handling multiple manufacturing duties. The high skill level of the production team, coupled with an experienced engineering staff, provides unique solutions and processes to meet production schedules and customer needs. This value-added component set E&W Global apart from many companies who may not have as uniquely integrated manufacturing and engineering capabilities.
The Company manufactures all of its products in a 173,000 square foot facility in Batavia, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati. The facility includes a two-story office section as well as a manufacturing area with mezzanine office space, a high crane-bay with 40-ton lifting capacity, and warehouse storage. The property is zoned M-1 allowing for industrial, manufacturing and warehouse uses. The building sits on a reinforced concrete foundation with steel paneled sidewalls and five loading bays. The facility houses welding, fabricating, assembly, paint booths, overhead crane and stocking areas.
Situated on 23 acres of land the facility is located on State Route 32, less than two miles from Interstate 275. This location allows for easy access to main thoroughfares for product shipping and materials receiving.
The Company has plans to expand it’s technical and manufacturing capabilities to produce Safety Related and Non-Safety ASME pressure vessels, heat exchangers, chillers, air conditioners, air handling units and other components to compliment the HVAC equipment that EWI already supplies to commercial nuclear power facilities to coincide with the Nuclear Renaissance in the United States. A 16,500 square feet high crane-bay addition with two 30 ton bridge cranes with 24 feet under hooks is expected to begin in 2011. A second addition is planned for 2014 adding an additional 16,500 square feet high crane-bay area.
